Why natural pools are better than traditional pools

First of all, what is a bio pool? A biological swimming pool is an ecological system identical to what is found in fresh water sources in Nature containing plants and organisms of various kinds, all of which have a role to play. So swimming in a biological pool is identical to swimming in fresh water such as lakes, rivers, waterfalls, etc. The main difference between a conventional or biological swimming pools is the way in which the water is filtered and cleaned. The filtration and cleaning of the water in a biological swimming pool is undertaken in two ways simultaneously. The first is by the vegetation’s roots system and the second is bio mechanical filtration using filters whose entire operation is biological. In this way there is no need of any chemicals or such.

“So swimming in a biological pool is identical to swimming in fresh water such as lakes, rivers, waterfalls, etc.”

Here at MANA we chose to go along with a bio pool instead of a traditional pool because of the integration with nature and to protect your skin. We all strive to have a healthy lifestyle so let’s start with not swimming in chemicals that might irritate your skin and eyes.

See photos below to understand in which way the water is filtered and cleaned.
